The fine print for Premium-plan trials. Last updated: August 2026.
Free trials of Premium features are available to new tailnets and to existing free-plan tailnets that have not previously used a trial of the same type. One trial per tailnet.
Trials run for the period stated at activation (typically 14 days) and include the Premium features listed on the pricing page at the time of the trial.
We do not collect payment details to start a trial. When a trial ends, features that require them are disabled; your tailnet, devices, and data are untouched and the free plan limits apply.
You can subscribe at any time; if you upgrade mid-trial, the trial ends and the subscription's billing begins per the checkout flow.
Creating multiple tailnets to chain trials violates the acceptable use policy. We may end trials used in violation of these terms.
